Challenge
Develop a visual language that captured the raw energy of German football culture while feeling contemporary, authentic and broadcast-ready.

Approach
The creative direction was inspired by sticker bombing, layered street posters, torn paper, fan banners and urban football culture. During the development phase multiple production techniques were explored, including digital animation, stop-motion methodologies and AI-assisted image generation.

Outcome
The final film won Gold at the GEMA Awards in the category Opening Season Trailer 2025/26.
